Located on the picturesque grounds of Bird Park, Bird Park's Family Fun Station offers a variety of activities for the whole family. The park is located on the pristine shores of the Kankakee River and boasts a historic quarry that is filled with opportunities to view wildlife in their natural environment. Guests may enjoy the picnic pavilions, playground jungle, scenic river-walk path, quarry paddleboat rentals, quarry fishing boats, ice cream shoppe, and Splash Pad.

Scuba Diving at Bird Park Quarry
KVPDis excited to bring back scuba diving in the Bird Park Quarry! Beginning in May 2012, we will offer scuba diving classes to new divers, rental gear for certified divers and open water time for certified divers with their own gear. Divers will have access to the new beach created at the quarry and private scuba area. Non-divers are welcome to enjoy the picnic area available on the grass near the quarry. The 2012 season will

Rules:
- All divers must sign liability waiver
- A driver’s license will be held for all equipment rentals
- For your convenience, you can rent your gear on site
- All divers must resurface 15 minutes before closing time
- Scuba diving is not permitted without a certified staff member on duty
- Please do not remove artifacts found in water, leave them for others to enjoy
- No spear fishing allowed
- Fishing allowed off fishing pier only
- No pets allowed past gate
- No non-divers past gate
- Picnic area available for non-divers
