Belly Dance Workout
Instructor: Kalyani
Belly dancing with a twist! Learn the art of belly dance while getting a great cardio workout. This exhilarating and exotic class will include warm-up, break down of basic belly dance movements, traveling steps, shimmies, percussive hip work, abdominal and rib cage work, and sustained arm movements. This class teaches traditional belly dance movements focusing on technique as well as high energy movements for maximum calorie burning. This class is for women of all sizes and levels of ability.

Yoga

Yoga can help reduce stress, increase flexibility and strengthen & tone your body. Each Yoga class includes Asana (postures), Pranayama (breathing exercises), Meditation and Deep Relaxation. Topics on Yogic Lifestyle, Diet, Cleansing Techniques, and Eastern Thought will also be introduced. Classes are open to all levels of students. Please bring yoga mat and shawl/light blanket.

Karate for Kids and Adults Taekwondo

Do you want to do something great for your children? Learn the Korean martial art form known as Songahm taekwondo. Basic techniques including punching; kicking forms and self defense are taught in these classes. More importantly this course will develop discipline, confidence, concentration and self-control in your child. All qualities that are needed to help children through their developmental years. This is also a great activity for families, parents here is an activity that you actually can do with your child. Give your child a head start for the school years by helping them improve themselves. Uniforms are required. You can purchase one at the ATE.

CPR Training with AED and First Aid training
Instructor: certified instructor Kelly Gresser
Want to learn to be prepared for everyday emergencies? Come to this 2 night class to learn: 1. CPR 2. Use of an AED machine 3. First Aid skills. This class will offer lecture and an interactive DVD. There will be plenty of time for hands on practice the skills covered in class. Each student will receive a certification card upon completion of class and basic skills test.

Aerobics

Want to boost your energy levels?! Bring your towel and water bottle and come join Donna Collins and the KVPD for an 8-week session of Hi/Lo impact aerobics. This program is for beginners and those with some aerobic experience. New techniques and moderate intensity increases will be introduced throughout the class as an individual’s endurance and skill improves. The classes will incorporate a warm up, cardiovascular training and strengthening segment. It’s a different pace each week.

Horseback Riding Lessons “Western Style”
Instructor: Kim Selby
Students will learn how to work around their horse –approaching a horse in its stall, haltering, grooming, and saddling. They will be introduced to horse and equipment care. Lessons will be taught Western style.
