Mat Pilates

A fun and invigorating workout that teaches a series of controlled movements utilizing the body’s “core” - abdomen, back, and hips. This exercise regimen is designed to create long, lean muscles while enhancing strength, flexibility, and balance, with an emphasis on posture. This class is taught with different levels of exercises, using modifications, so beginners are welcome. Please bring a water bottle and your own mat to class.

Canine Communication 101 – what is my dog saying?

In this informative seminar instructor Yolanda Belluso will help you learn how to read your dog’s body language.
This presentation will utilize over 100 slides and video clips. You will leave with a better understanding of how dogs communicate with each other, with other animals, and with people. Please do not bring your pet to this seminar. This seminar is a prerequisite to the Dog Training Workshops. If you plan on enrolling in any of the workshops please bring proof of rabies vaccinationto the seminar.

Dog Training Workshops

In all four dog training workshops we will cover loose leash walking and focused attention. In addition each individual workshop will also focus on a different behavior. Scuba Diving “PADI Open Water Certification”
Instructor: Mike Gulczynski, PADI Master Instructor
Learning to scuba dive requires both knowledge development
(facts, principles, concepts) and dive skills (techniques, methods). The course provides you with books, classroom training, confined water and open water training dives, tank, Regulator, BCD, and certification card (upon successfully completing course). Participants must be at least 10 years of age or older, fit for diving, able to swim 200 yards and tread water for 10 min., and bring their own masks, fins, & snorkel (Instructor has discounted products for sale to students).

Piercing the Veil, Ghost Hunting 101
Instructor: Juli Velazquez, President & Founder of I.S.P.I. (International Society of Paranormal Investigators)
Instructor, Juli Velazquez, has been investigating for twelve years and has been featured on WCIA New (ABC Affiliate), The Travel Channel (Ghost Adventures), the SyFy Channel, The Movie The Possessed and SyFy’s latest documentary Children of the Grave II.
Whether you are a paranormal TV show fanatic or a history buff, Ghost Hunting 101 has something for you.
This workshop will cover how to properly conduct an investigation, EVP and audio, ghost photography, and the
history of the haunting. It will provide insight on how to be a real paranormal investigator and how to debunk
paranormal activity. Students will conduct hands-on investigations of an alleged haunted location, and learn how
to analyze audio. A certificate of completion will be given to each participant who takes all 5 workshops.
*To take part in the 5th workshop it is required that you take the first 4.

Ghost Hunting 102 “Insight into Investigations”
Participants must have completed Ghost Hunting 101 or belong to an established Paranormal Investigating
Organization to take this class. This is a hands on course where you apply your knowledge learned in the paranormal field to conduct investigations of alleged haunted locations. We will be reviewing evidence captured, processing EVP, and researching the history and folk lore in Kankakee County and surrounding areas!
