Morning Adventure
Instructor: KVPD Staff
Parents bring your child and come out to the Bird Park Meeting Room for a morning of music, play, and socialization. Discover the benefits your child will experience while playing and socializing with other children in a fun and safe environment. This program operates year round and pre-registration is not required.

A Beary Happy Valentines Party
Little ones are invited to bring their favorite Teddy Bear and have fun celebrating Valentine’s Day. We will play games with our Teddy Bear friends and make a special gift to take home. Refreshments will be served.

Princess for a Day

Monkey See Monkey Do

At this event children stuff their own animal, name it and fill out a birth certificate, and design clothing for their newfriend. Games and refreshment are also included.

Youth Step Team
Instructor: Cornelius Talley
KVPD is now offering step classes for youth. If you are interested in wanting to learn how to step this program is for you. Students will learn the fundamentals of stepping and be provided with an atmosphere where each individual student can learn how to express their creativity in a positive manner through stepping. At the end of this 6-week program a public performance will follow.

Guitar 1 for Beginners

Students will learn parts of the guitar, how to strum the guitar, basic chords, sight readings and songs in a fun filled format that brings smiles and laughs to all while learning to appreciate music.

Guitar 2 for Beginners
Instructor: Guitar FUN-damentals
Students taking this class will continue on with what they have learned in Beginning Guitar 1. Students will learn more advanced sight-reading, new chords and new songs and play duets with other students as they continue to learn how to master the guitar in a friendly, fun-filled format that emphasizes both fun and music appreciation.

Guitar Boot Camp

Students jump in with both feet learning the basics; the parts of the guitar, notes on strings, basic chords, basic songs and basic scales in a fun-filled atmosphere! Students learn the very techniques they need to jam with their friends from the very first lesson!

Horseback Riding Lessons
Instructor: Kim Selby & Wellspring Riding Academy Staff
Students will be introduced to horse basics and safety. They will learn how to approach their horse in its stall, put its halter on, groom, and saddle their horse. In addition, students will learn about basic horse and equipment care. Long pants and shoes with a heal are necessary for safety and comfort. Riding helmets are required and will be provided.
