    Spring Break Camp

    Join the Kankakee Valley Park District the week of April 13th-17th for a Rip Roaring Spring Break. Each day will be filled with games and crafts both inside and out.  Please send you children in play clothes and with a lunch.  We will provide an afternoon snack. Let us know of known food allergies.

    Taekwondo for Tiny Tigers

    Instructor: ATE Black belt Academy & Karate for Kids
    Do you want to do something great for your children?  Learn the Korean martial art form known as Songahm taekwondo.  Basic techniques including punching; kicking forms and self defense are taught in these classes.  More importantly this course will develop discipline, confidence, concentration and self-control in your child.  All qualities that are needed to help children through their developmental years.  Give your child a head start for the school years by helping them improve themselves.  Uniforms are required.  You can purchase one at the ATE.

    Horseback Riding Lessons “Western Style”

    Instructor: Kim Selby
    Students will learn how to work around their horse –approaching a horse in its stall,   haltering, grooming, and saddling.  They will be introduced to horse and equipment care.  Lessons will be taught Western style.

    Wellspring Riding Academy- Horseback Riding Camp

    Instructor: Kim Selby
    Students will learn how to work around their horse - haltering, grooming, and saddling.  They will be introduced to horse and equipment care.  They will have a riding lesson each day and will learn in both English and Western styles.  There will also be games and craft projects throughout the week, as well as a surprise souvenir to take home.  Camp will take place rain or shine, as we have an indoor riding facility if it rains.

    Baby Sitting for Success

    Instructor: certified instructor Kelly Gresser
    Discussions, role-playing activities and practical experiences are all part of this class that covers
    diapering, feeding and playing with children, child development, emergencies and first aid. Bring a snack to each class. A student reference book and many other resource materials are included. Students receive a certificate of completion for the eight-hour class.
