Located at 150 N Indiana Ave, in downtown Kankakee, the RecCenter offers a full gymnasium with open gym for youth, teens, adults and family time.

Sign up for a basketball or volleyball league or an athletic class for the kids! Participate in a program in one of classrooms or rent one out for your next meeting. 

The Charlton Room seats 150 people banquet style or 200 people theater style and offers a full use kitchen. This multipurpose room can be used for meetings, baby showers, wedding receptions, retirement parties, corporate events, seminars and so much more!

Looking for a little exercise this fall? Stop by and walk laps around the gym! This is a free activity, just be sure to call before heading over, you can reach us at (815) 929-1885.

Parking at the RecCenter:

Parking is available at the RecCenter Parking lot which is located on the corner of Indiana Ave. and Oak St.

Additional parking is available along E. Oak St. itself and across from Paramount Theatre in the municipal parking lot off of Schuyler.
