Calling all local First Responders! Join us for our free 16” Mushball Tournament during Fall Fest! The tournament will be a double elimination tournament where local first responder departments will compete in a fun filled day of mushball.
You may be asking yourself "What's mushball?!".
To put it simply, the game is played like softball. The difference is in the ball. A mushball is 16 inches in diameter, rather than the typical 11 inch ball used in softball. The mushballs become “mushier” the longer you play with them, making the travel distance shorter as the game continues, which ultimately makes it harder to score.
We are seeking commitments from 8 local departments that would be willing to submit a team and participate in this free event. All games will be held at our River Road Complex. First pitch will be at 8:00 am with a tentative championship game set for 2:00 pm. Email Aaron at adenton@kvpd.com for more details and to register!
