Free KVPD Summer Concert at Splash Valley: Tropixplosion
Get ready for an island party at Splash Valley Aquatic Park (1850 River Road, Kankake)! KVPD’s Summer Concert Series is bringing Tropixplosion to the pool for a FREE night of tropical tunes, poolside vibes, and summer fun.
This high-energy band brings the feel of the tropics to the stage with a fun mix of calypso, soca, reggae, Brazilian, Latin, tropical rock, pop favorites, classic rock, and refreshing original music. More than a traditional steel drum band, Tropixplosion takes familiar songs and gives them an island-style twist, creating an upbeat, summer-ready sound that’s perfect for all ages.
Bring your lawn chair, gather the family, and enjoy a concert that feels like a mini tropical getaway right here in Kankakee. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
