This class is a play-based music & movement class where mini- musicians will explore a new genre of music such as, Hip Hop, Flamenco, Rock & Roll, Jazz, or Operatic every six weeks! Once Upon a Song radically revamps classic nursery rhymes, sing-a-longs, and popular music of today and combines them with a thematic story time to meet kiddos where they are and teach them the fundamentals of literacy, S.T.E.A.M., and musicianship!
For ages 12-24 months. This program is an adult participation class. Classes will meet at the KVPD Rec Center, located at 150 N. Indiana Ave. in Kankakee. No classes on December 19 and 26, January 2 and February 27. $50 per child.
