The Kankakee Valley Park District’s Senior Expo & Senior Market is a free morning event created for local seniors to connect, learn, shop and discover community resources.
Guests can meet with local organizations, explore health and wellness resources, learn about recreation opportunities, hear from educational speakers, discover travel and lifestyle information, and enjoy door prizes and giveaways. Community recycling services will also be available, including secure document shredding, electronic recycling and a plastic recycling drive.
The Senior Market will feature handmade crafts, artwork, baked goods and one-of-a-kind creations from local senior artisans and makers.
Whether you’re looking for helpful resources, new activities, social opportunities or simply an enjoyable morning out, there’s something for everyone.
