Teach and Reach 5K race is being held on October 15, 2021 at Gov. Small Memorial Park at 5:30 pm. This race will be a compilation of a four-week Teach and Reach to 5K program, in which participants will learn the skills necessary to build their strength and stamina in order to complete a 5K.
Participants will be meeting twice weekly as a group to run and will have the opportunity to enter into weekly raffles and receive a t-shirt on race day. Class will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00-7:00 pm at local parks in Kankakee. A schedule will be emailed out to participants before the first day of class.
