Youth Fishing 101 (Intermediate Class)

This class will include a variety of information for anglers at all levels. This class will cover the following areas: how to obtain a license, safety, choosing the right gear, operating the three types of reels, casting/work lures/setting the hook. tying knots, fishing for different types of fish, handling catches, fishing in different seasons, and what to look for.  

Each participant must bring their own fishing rod. Bait will be included. For ages 15 and under. Students must be accompanied by an adult.

Class meets on Wednesdays. Registration closes on September 5. Register online at www.kvpd.com.
