Beckman Boat Harbor Update

Dear Patrons and Stewards of the Beckman Boat Harbor,

As you may be aware, there was a collapse of the north wall of the Beckman Boat Harbor on Saturday, October 2. We are grateful to all of our harbor renters, friends, neighbors, and staff who assisted that evening with the relocation of boats in order to minimize damage and prioritize the safety of all who use the harbor. Thank you to Chris Karraker for alerting us to the situation.

To further ensure the safety of our renters and their boats, we ask that all boat slip renters remove their boats from the harbor no later than Sunday, October 10. This will also allow us to take steps in planning repairs and renovation as well as what options we may have so we may accommodate you and your boats next season.

If you have any questions, please give us a call at 815-939-1311 so that we can address your concerns.

Once again, we thank all of the individuals that have assisted in moving boats thus far, and we appreciate your cooperation going forward.
